Polish Pottery - beginning

First of all, I'm still surprised that I'm polish pottery fan. If someone told me that 3 years ago I would never believe it! It started when I was 21, and my dad told me about some article about polish pottery, it was the first time when I heard "polish pottery from boleslawiec". I wasn't very much interested at the beginning but it changed when I saw and touched polish pottery. During 2 years I have seen in person uncountable number of polish pottery items. I was in polish pottery hq - Boleslawiec. I still recall trip to Boleslawiec, this is amazing city - please take a look at the pics, but pictures do not do it justice!

The picture below shows beautiful unikat DSO pattern presented by Manufaktura. This pattern has been also created by Manufaktura and Manufaktura is the only factory which is allowed to use this pattern.



Here is city hall, it's beautiful and very original it looks a lot better in person, a lot of people can be seen on the photo beacause it was taken during Ceramics Holiday


When you are in Boleslawiec you will always known that it's city of pottery, there are plenty of places where you can see pottery even on cross roads.
It's real polish pottery it's quite big and is made by Zaklady Ceramiczne



Here's Boleslawiec Church it's very impressive old Church it's on the little hill, it's worth visiting
